My Services

 

Personal Care;

I provide all aspects of personal care. This includes, dressing/un-dressing, personal hygiene/bathing, incontinence care, maintaining personal appearance including styling/washing hair, oral/denture care, toileting & integrity checks. Skin care with applying ointment/creams, administering medication, helping with mobility support, bed changes/laundry and helping with preparation of food/eating & drinking.

All of this is always personalised to you which can be done with an assessment first where we can discuss exactly what you would like and how you would like it done, what you need help with and what you would prefer to maintain by yourself.

Helping to maintain your independence and dignity is of great importance and helps with your self-esteem and on-going mobility.

I also provide medication administration. This can either be by reminding you/prompting or, organising and physically helping you to administer your medication. 

And all services will be done with compassionate care, one to one. 

 

Companionship;

Companionship is one of my most important services I provide. Not only does it decrease the feeling of loneliness but makes you feel better mentally. I often have clients have me just for this service. To be able to see a face, have a good conversation with a cup of tea means the world to someone who lives on their own or who doesn't have much contact with people outside. It provides a positive well-being and a good quality of life. 

 

Light Housework & Shopping;

I can provide you or your loved one with housework that either they need help with or are un-able to do anymore due to mobility. 

Dusting, hoovering and keeping areas of the household clean & tidy to exactly how you want it to be. It's important that where you live is always made so that you feel comfortable. 

I can also do any shopping that you may need. This doesn't have to be a regular thing. It can be a one off that you would like me to do if maybe your family that usually do it for you are away for example.
